The Work You'll Do

As a Project Manager II, you will work cross-functionally to drive governance of strategic initiatives and to manage completion of projects. The Project Manager II is responsible for managing the complete life cycle of projects, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of projects to ensure planned results are achieved on time. You will develop project plans, timelines, and ensure progress-to-plan as well as tracking and communicating critical project achievements. You will be the primary point of contact for the project and will be responsible for providing regular project updates to all project stakeholders. Also, you will identify and deliver process improvement initiatives and standardizing best practices across teams.

More specifically, you will:

* Manage cross-functional Tax and Regulatory Reporting initiative projects focused on the build out of new solutions, including scoping the initiative, developing project plans & communication plans, orchestrating execution and monitoring results to adjust course as needed
* Ensuring project budgets and timelines are adhered to enabling the success of the Go To Market strategic goals
* Manage a variety of projects impacting cross functional teams and customers
* Manage all assigned projects to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintenance of overall project ownership
* Responsible for planning and managing project resources effectively
* Track and communicate team metrics and progress
* Manage project execution across teams for all phases of the project: Strategy, Execution and Growth
* Document and track resolution of project issues, risks and change requests; Resolve and escalate issues, risks and change requests as appropriate
* Create and deliver project communication materials for team members, leadership, and business partners for projects of moderate complexity
* Develop positive relationships and share information with sponsors, leadership, team members and interfacing teams
* Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver
* Develop and leverage appropriate technical, functional, or business knowledge to support the organizational readiness plan
* Achieve quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration
* Act with integrity and demonstrates ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
* Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
* Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth

What we are looking for from you:

* Experience managing projects in software/professional services company
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong meeting facilitation and training skills
* Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and foster healthy and productive project team dynamics
* Aptitude for quickly grasping new technical concepts and to evaluate a situation and understand how and why it works the way it does and how it could be improved
* Detail???oriented and ability to work collaboratively in a deadline???driven environment
* Ability to identify and address potential roadblocks before they are able to affect the team's progress
* Essential Job Functions:
