Line Lead 2nd shift

Pro Staff has partnered with a distribution company in Shakopee, Minnesota and are seeking energetic Processing Leads! This temporary ongoing position pays $16.23 - $18.23 per hour, depending on experience. Qualified candidates will be able to effectively oversee multiple lines while working closely with team members to achieve maximum productivity.

Shifts Available:

• 2nd shift: 1:45pm-9:45 Monday through Friday

Job Duties:

• Communicate specific job assignments to team members

• Work with other leads to coordinate the number of workers needed on each line

• Understand every job in the department and have the ability to train their team members

• Oversee 3 to 4 lines of 5 to 10 workers per line

• Assign workers to appropriate duties while considering their strengths and weaknesses

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment

• Assist other departments as needed

• Report any safety concerns, damaged products, and discrepancies

• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience leading 10+ people

• Ability to motivate and lead others

• Must be able to tactfully discipline employees

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have good attention to detail

• Good reliability and attendance

• Must be able to meet client requirements
