Senior Electrical Engineer

A Sr. Electrical Engineer to provide engineering and design support for electrical construction projects, and provide leadership to junior electrical engineers and designers.

Required:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
7+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience
PE credentials
Proficient in MS Office
Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit

Job Order Details:

Under the direction of the Executive VP, the Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for review, approval, and sometimes creation of electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineering for electrical construction projects. The individual will provide leadership to electrical engineers and designers.

Proactively provides guidance to Engineers and Designers as project specific tasks are executed
Provides training and mentoring to Engineers and Designers
Provides electrical engineering for complex projects with minimal team leader oversight
Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications
Prepares and studies technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements
Plans layouts of electrical construction projects
Conducts field surveys, studies diagrams, and reviews other data to identify and correct power system problems or solutions
Provides guidance to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specification
Compiles data and writes report regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects
Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Participates in bid presentations and customer/project interviews
