Electrical Controls Engineer

An Electrical Controls Engineer to develop and program new machinery and assist in the design of the equipment.

Required:

2 year associates degree in applicable field or 4 year Electrical Engineering Degree, or applicable work experience preferred
Allen Bradley Software: Rslogix 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View Studio
Allen Bradley Hardware: Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 5700, Control Logix, Guard Logix
Siemens Software proficient or higher

Job Responsibilities:

Program machines as assigned by the project manager.
Develop new machinery and make recommendations on their mechanical design to enhance programming ease and electrical component utilization
Perform engineering priority tasks assigned by Engineering leader on-time and within budget
Start-up new R machines and develop program so that future machines can be started without any programming expertise.
Responsible for cost reductions on existing equipment
Ensure sold machines conform to product and technical specifications
Make recommendations to mechanical engineers about how to enhance machine performance
Ensure machines conform to company engineering standards
Review and approve job specific manuals - touchscreens/operations

Pay Range: $60/yr. - $100k/yr. DOE
