At Wells Fargo, we are looking for talented people who will put our customers at the center of everything we do. We are seeking candidates who embrace diversity, equity and inclusion in a workplace where everyone feels valued and inspired.

Help us build a better Wells Fargo. It all begins with outstanding talent. It all begins with you.

Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. We serve and help individuals and families in many aspects of their lives, helping them buy homes, open first bank and savings accounts, buy cars to get to and from work or school, and start or grow small businesses. CSBB is focused on innovating and transforming with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose. As an industry leader in many consumer and small business areas - including retail deposits, debit card transaction and purchase volume, and small business lending - our primary goal is delivering for our customers.

Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms works across the CSBB, Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.

The Customer Discovery Product Owner is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by the scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. In this role, the individual translates the product vision for customer and banker facing solutions, translates the vision into actionable work sprints, and directs the delivery of the roadmap by Agile teams working in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the enterprise. The scope of this position is centered around the successful delivery of the Customer Discovery experience to bankers and Wells Fargo Customers. This position will work closely with the Product Lead and Product Manager to help translate the strategy and vision of the Customer Discovery project into meaningful and actionable sprints that help the business incrementally achieve the defined KPIs and business goals.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Participate in product discovery, including customer insights through primary and secondary research, business analytics, competitive dynamics, technology trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory considerations
  • Direct envisioning of customer and banker experiences in partnership with in-house or third-party design resources, including developing customer journey maps and user experiences with UX, BA and Product Manager
  • Assist in driving cross-functional collaboration across design, development, testing, content, marketing, legal, compliance and financial partners to ensure success
  • Drive product/solution level prioritization of epics and features based on customer and business value
  • Formulate product positioning, and lead the articulation of product value propositions to customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and understood
  • Work with reporting team to track performance metrics and key performance indicators, leading to success on the overarching objectives and key results
  • Maintain and evangelize product visions informed by consumer insights, business priorities and market opportunities
