Honeywell Aerospace is a leading global provider of integrated avionics, propulsion engines, aircraft and engine systems and full-service solutions for our customers. Deliver strong and dynamic leadership of all Commercial Finance aspects in PAS North America regions. This role will partner with the AMER Regional Business Leaders in driving financial performance including, managing and standardizing key business processes such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly Business Review (MBR), Financial Analysis and Forecasts and drive resolution P&L and BS via our matrix organization. This role will also lead projects and productivity reviews and is responsible for ensuring project review compliance. Develop robust financial strategies to maximize growth and long-term value creation.

The Senior Financial Analyst provides Government Compliance and financial guidance to the Qualified sites located within Honeywell Aerospace. This position is an excellent opportunity for growth in a Government oriented business. This individual will become a subject matter expert through experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other government agency supplemental regulations. Position to be filled in Phoenix, Clearwater, Minneapolis or Puerto Rico.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the analysis and preparation of Incurred Cost Proposals and unallowable reviews pertaining to final claimed cost.
* Responsible for the preparation of forward pricing rate proposals and the primary interface with DCAA audit of these proposals.
* Primary interface with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency), regarding Business Systems, CAS, Incurred Cost, Forward Pricing and final voucher audits.
* Support of cost accounting change language related to segment disclosure statements and the analysis of cost impacts as required by the CAS.
* Support the analysis of rate trending models, final incurred cost rates and calculating associated cost impacts.
* Supports cross functionally Government Accounting and Compliance matters, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls.
* Ongoing interaction and partnership with Honeywell Government Compliance team members.
* Ongoing support of HOS implementation and sustainment.
* Other duties as assigned by Manager

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum of 7 Years of Related Experience.
* Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident status.

WE VALUE

* Strong SAP experience.
* Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
* Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government Compliance is desired.
* Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
* CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus.
* Strong financial and business analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Independent, self-starter, with a strong work ethic, high degree of motivation and the ability to contribute to a positive team attitude.
* Strong bias for action; results oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and team across organizational or functional boundaries.
* Six Sigma certified or trained preferred.
