This position within the United Retiree Solutions (URS) Finance team serves a vital role in supporting many financial planning and business-facing workstreams. URS is a rapidly growing business providing Medicare Advantage solutions for large employer-group clients, currently covering over 1.5M members. The URS Finance team is uniquely positioned to partner closely with URS leadership to evaluate and guide strategy and other business decisions, as well as to execute on financial planning and analysis functions within the Medicare & Retirement finance organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial results, trends and performance metrics across the book of business, by client and by product
• Partner with SAS programming team to manage and review technical program in alignment with monthly accounting close and financial forecast cycles
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and strategy planning
• Improve and automate how we do things by leveraging tools and technology and carrying out process improvement activities
• Compile, review and present financial and operational information to key senior executives across finance and URS
• Partner with many cross-functional teams to support financial planning, sales and business management activities
• Utilize multiple databases and other sources to inform financial reporting and decision-making
• Build relationships across finance and URS; receive broad exposure to finance and business executives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
• Experience with SAS and/or SQL programming
• Experience presenting to senior leadership
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to generate reports from large datasets
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work with cross-functional business partners

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
