The business management consultant is part of the Optum Advisory Services Business Operations team and will be primarily focused on supporting Senior Level Leaders (GL32, SLT) with financial reporting and analysis, enabling key decision making and management of the business. This individual will also be responsible for supporting the Business Operations Team in developing and maintaining new and existing processes & reporting that adapts to/and enables the growing needs of the business.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within United States as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial packages, synthesize information, disseminate to Sr. Leadership
• Prepare / support financial forecasts and budgeting
• Ad-hoc financial and operational reporting / business analysis
• Operational processes development and maintenance
• Maintain excel based financial reporting tools
• Serve as the finance / operational point of contact for specified areas of the business
• Work cross functionality across finance, operations, accounting, and the business
• Collaborate / enable other operations functions to find solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics
• 7+ years of experience in finance / operations / or consulting role
• 5+ years of experience supporting consulting / services business
• 5+ years of experience in advanced excel / financial reporting experience (vlookups, indexmatch, pivot tables, basic macros, etc.)
• Basic understanding of financial statements / P&L structures
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% when safe to travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Client management / stakeholder management / senior level interaction
• Ability to function in a matrixed environment

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
