Sr. Power Systems Electrical Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer---HIRING ASAP

Location: Plymouth, MN

Duration: Full-Time/Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Perform power systems studies, perform Arc Flash analysis primary contact with clients, lead design collaboration activity
• Delegate work, review and approve work products from others under your direct supervision
• Certify design documents/drawings
• Perform high quality engineering services
• Assit with the preparation of high-quality construction documentation including calculations, drawings and specifications
• Perform construction phase site observations on job sites and produce site observation reports as required (potential 5% travel to construction job sites)
• Efficiently use appropriate software to complete engineering design
• Manage time based on project budget and schedule
• Communicate with clients/contractors regarding RFI's and field questions, as requested

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years engineering experience
• P.E. registration with eight or more years of engineering experience in design and construction
• Proficient with any of the following software: Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Engineering
• LEED accreditation
• Commercial building design experience
