Construction Project Manager

Konik is partnered with a small and growing construction company in the south metro that is seeking to add an experienced and well-rounded Construction Project Manager to join their team. In this role you will manage projects from initial bid through completion and closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tenant Improvement (TI) and ground-up projects and will be driven, energetic, and enjoy working at a fast-pace. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager that enjoys managing the entire construction process, and it offers a strong base salary with an excellent bonus plan based upon individuals' profitability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities from the conceptual development through project close
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Manage documentation ton ensure project compliance, timely completion, and controlled costs
• Obtain, assemble, distribute, and fill as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy and lien releases
• Schedule projects in line with time constraints and budgeting requirements
• Prepare and submit estimates, progress reports, and cost tracing reports

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Construction Project Manager role with a general contractor
• Experience with Tenant improvement projects requires; additional ground-up experience is strongly preferred
• Strong technical construction knowledge, understanding carpentry, masonry, concret, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical
• Good knowledge of commercial construction technology, details, and practices; must be able to review and understand all construction documents including specifications and drawings
• Excellent communication ability
