Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.**Summary:** Facebook designs, builds, leases and operates the most innovative and efficient data centers in the world. Developing, operating and managing the data center infrastructure and facilities the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability, flexibility and capital and operational cost efficiency in a safe, healthy working environment. Facebook is seeking an experienced and outgoing individual to join our data center economic development team. You must have strong organizational skills and have the ability to develop and successfully implement strategic initiatives. This role will partner with our data center economic development team to forge alignment and promote awareness of projects and initiatives spanning Facebook's infrastructure, public policy and communications teams.**Required Skills:** 1. Lead cross-functional advocacy and strategic content initiatives related to infrastructure projects that span across multiple teams and organizations, and identify gaps and synergies.2. Develop and manage content and advocacy strategies around global projects related to economic development and data centers that are informed by business needs, research, and the public opinion climate.3. Work in partnership with cross-functional partners and external consultants to implement content and advocacy strategies, and facilitate internal alignment amongst cross functional teams.4. Develop narrative strategies and other materials and content for a variety of projects and policy proposals with external and internal audiences.5. Support efforts across cross-functional teams to identify potential impacts stemming from policy and regulatory proposals.6. Partner with our data center, communications, and policy teams to facilitate alignment and promote awareness of initiatives spanning across Facebook infrastructure teams.**Minimum Qualifications:** 7. 10+ years of experience in advocacy/policy communications and related strategic fields, with a focus on managing projects that support cross-functional teams.8. 2+ years experience project building and managing teams that support cross-functional groups (including technical teams).9. Experience leading projects that support advocacy initiatives that span across roles and teams in the organization, as well as external partners.10. Experience developing strategic content and advocacy materials that support external initiatives.11. Experience building outreach programs and managing stakeholder relations at a national or international level.**Preferred Qualifications:** 12. Experience working on advocacy and outreach initiatives that support the successful implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.13. Experience in energy, economic, and community development initiatives.14.
