Position Description
Under the direction of the President/ CEO, the Controller directs the financial activities of the organization, prepares financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management decisions, and maintains and coordinates health insurance and other employee benefits. Candidate must be a self starter and be organized and able to manage the position without supervision, to be able to priotitize workload and to meet scheduled goals in order for timely decision making by the CEO.

Qualifications
- Experience with Sage Timberline Software a plus.
- Experience with percentage of completion of revenue recognition is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to multitask
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Process accounts payable
- Maintain fixed asset ledger
- Manage cash
- Enter payroll
- Liaison with insurance agents
- Work with insurance auditors during yearend insurance audit
- Prepare work papers and schedules for yearend review of financial statements by outside firm
- Ability to work with outside Tax accounting firm for preparation of Corporate tax
- Real Estate accounting for Commercial Properties owned
- Journal entries and Data entry
- Job Accounting
- Year end tax returns for Real Estate LLC's
- Job Cost expenses and Payroll
- Coordinate small job costs with book keeper
- work with Project Managers on job cost templates for new projects
- Update accounts payable/ receivable on aging reports
