In this role you will be responsible to bring construction project management experience to gather requirements and translate them into a plan of our organization's workplace, production, warehouse/distribution, repair workshop, and laboratory spaces across a multi-site operation. You will coordinate with internal stake holders as well as the Third-Party Logistics Provider to gather and consolidate the technical requirements, evaluate financial scenarios, and collaborate with our real estate and management teams to ensure we have the appropriate facility resources. There will be a focus on both the current and future needs to support the best customer and workplace experience. The focus of this role is based on the future facility and coordinating the construction project with both internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a key contact to the ABB Real Estate throughout the construction project in Motion - Drive Products in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Reporting to the Local Division Controller- US, you will bring a reputation for influence across all levels, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively prioritize your time, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when needed. Understanding of the financial model for the site as approved, and managing construction costs aligned with budget, are critical.

Your responsibilities

Project Management - Prepare budgeting and pricing outlines to be presented to leadership.
Develop and update project schedules, provide project schedule updates.
Regular stakeholder report outs and updates.
Data Gathering and Analysis - Gather employee workplace requirements for next 5 years, then lead the vendor search process, secure internal approvals and implementation vendor procurement, contract negotiations and management.
Stakeholder Engagement- Build own knowledge of the cross-functional strategic initiatives that fundamentally impact our various production, warehouses/distribution center, repair work shops, and labs environments, covering expansion/growth, technology roll outs/upgrades, and process improvement.
Commercial Construction- Work with initiatives associated with new construction, renovations, and tenant improvement projects from conception to recommendation, including strategy, SOW development, RFP management, and proposal 1 | Facilities Project Manager- Construction options.
Standards and Brand - Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Group to ensure all locations are built to allow for safe and compliant facility.
Ensure the implementation of the brand standards in all new spaces, ensuring that all offices have consistent and seamless operating abilities.

Your background

Bachelor degree with 12 years of experience OR Associates degree with 14 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 16 years of experience in large construction projects that includes budgeting, planning, timeline management, implementation, and all elements of execution.
Travel up to 20% of the time.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
