Our Magnolia Care Technical Specialist provides a premium experience in the Magnolia VIP Care Program, providing post installation technical management of the Magnolia products installed and programmed in residential and commercial spaces. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality client experience by driving operational efficiency, and growing the business in an effort to support converging technologies.Key accountabilities:Responsible for the ongoing monitoring, pro-active system maintenance, configuration and programming of advanced audio, video, lighting, surveillance, automated, and networked systems in Magnolia Care qualified residential spaces both remotely and onsiteProvides ongoing consultation services of clients' systemsMonitors, tests, diagnoses, repairs, recreates advanced programming, optimizes and maintains client's Magnolia purchased equipment. Ensures proper system functionality and performance benchmarks are achievedResponsible for facilitating product repair in client system and expediting exchange of products, installation and programming.Delivery and installation of audio/video, control and networking equipmentMaintains accurate records for all Client post-installation technical activitiesEducates the Client on the purchased equipment, which includes the system operation tutorialMaintains functionality for MDC store(s)Basic Qualifications:2 years experience in one or more of the following areas: programming, system integration, networking, installation experience OR military equivalent2 years of customer serviceCurrent, valid drivers licenseHave and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)Must be at least 21 years of ageAbility to consistently lift/carry/maneuver products weighing 75lbs+ individually, or 150lbs+ as a team (support tools such as a harness, dolly, and/or lift may be provided as applicable for the type of work being performed)Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hirePreferred Qualifications:Consumer Electronics Industry Certification in Networking, Home Automation, System Integration, or similarPrevious experience in an in-home experience environment
