In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing, researching, investigating and triaging all types of claims, appeals and grievances. You'll drive the action and communicate with appropriate parties regarding claims issues. In return, we'll provide you with great training, support and opportunities. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:30:00am -5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2020 Innovation Court, De Pere, WI, 54115. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of a team members including setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc. Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action This is a challenging role with serious impact. Required Qualifications: High School diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent years of work experience 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience 3+ years of experience analyzing and solving problems in an office, claims or customer service environment Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of claims, appeals or grievance experience Understanding of coordination of benefits and subrogation claim processing Familiarity with small group or self-funded product designs Telecommuting Requirements: Reside within commutable distance of De Pere, WI Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service Soft skills: Ability to multi-task including the ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product UnitedHealth Group requires all new hires and employees to report their COVID-19 vaccination status.
