Wells Fargo's Institutional Retirement and Trust (IRT) business was purchased by Principal Financial Group (PFG), a provider of retirement, investments, and insurance products and services. The sale was announced in April, 2019, and the transition of in scope team members and clients is expected to be completed by first quarter 2022. Wells Fargo is committed to supporting the IRT business throughout the transition.

Wells Fargo's Institutional Retirement and Trust (IRT) Division is seeking a Client Service Consultant 2 for their Minneapolis, MN office. As a Client Service Consultant you will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers by providing moderately complex to complex support services in account management, operations, documentation, customer service and technical support. Duties include: acting as primary liaison between customer and bank, answering questions and solving problems involving all bank departments; collaborating with relationship managers; ensuring proper booking and maintenance of loans; tracking and monitoring portfolio on an ongoing basis for compliance, position, documentation exceptions, overdrafts, accounting, maintenance of files and reports, letters of credit, pricing and delinquencies; preparing financial and profitability reports and loan reports; producing and maintaining tickler report and default reports; participating in special projects relating to product conversions and new product development. Provide assistance to lower level staff.

Duties include, but not inclusive to:
??? Communicating with clients regarding account questions, account transactions, researching and resolving problems identified by customers.
??? Making customer calls with Relationship Managers.
??? Preparing documentation checklists, documents, reports, and other items.
??? Tracking and monitoring portfolios on an ongoing basis for compliance, position, documentation exceptions, overdrafts, accounting, maintenance on files and reports, pricing and delinquencies.
??? Preparing regular performance reports of account activities.
??? Provide technical support on Wells Fargo web applications and products, along with training to clients.
??? Identifying cross-sell opportunities and/or areas of concern with internal partners.
??? Developing and leading projects that support business initiatives.
??? Identifying and implementing improvements to IRT.
??? Servicing complex to moderately complex relationships.
??? Participating in final sales presentations with Sales and Relationship Management.



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of client service experience, related business experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
