Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a part-time (20 hours per week) HR Coordinator. We are seeking a candidate who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. Hours will be Monday-Friday on first shift, but we are open to discussing which specific hours and days best fit your personal needs. We are seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy HR Coordinator to support the administrative needs of our HR department. This is a fast-paced role that offers broad exposure to a range of HR functional areas. Previous experience handling confidential information including salary, medical and performance data is strongly preferred. Typical HR Coordinator Responsibilities As an HR Coordinator, your time will be spent on administrative support tasks that keep the department running smoothly. We use a shared Outlook inbox as well as task management software (Wrike) to clearly communicate what work needs to be accomplished at any given time. Although no two days are the same, you can expect tasks in the following areas: Training: Maintain accurate employee training records and proactively schedule/coordinate re-training as needed. Issue internal safety certifications when programs are successfully completed.Onboarding: Ensure that new employees have a great first impression of DSTI. This includes timely creation of accounts in a variety of systems so they have access to appropriate systems. It may also include miscellaneous tasks like desk setup and coordinating schedules. Benefits: Assist the HR Manager with open enrollment. This may include things like preparing census files, coordinating open enrollment training and processing benefit changes. Also manages qualifying event changes and administers COBRA notices throughout the year through a third party vendor. Assists with ACA reporting. Performance Management: Administer annual performance evaluations on a monthly basis. Run a variety of reports for senior management including wage history reports out of the payroll system. Payroll: Enter employment related changes directly into our payroll system. This role does not process payroll, but is responsible for the accuracy of changes entered into the payroll system. General Office: Professionally answer incoming calls. Deter unwanted solicitors from reaching our employees while directing legitimate callers to the appropriate resource.We use a wide variety of systems including CBIZ payroll, Engagedly performance and LMS, ApplicantPro ATS, Wrike task management, PurelyHR and Epicor ERP for time off and Ease for benefits as well as proprietary internal systems so you must be comfortable learning new technology to succeed. Qualifications Bachelor degree in HR Management, Human Resource Development or related field preferred. Associate degree and relevant experience may be substituted. We will also consider candidates who are actively pursuing a degree and have completed some relevant coursework. 1-3+ years of previous work experience, preferably in Human Resources or supporting another confidential department. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of informationAdvanced knowledge of MS Office Products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Proficiency in ERP, HRIS and/or payroll software systems (Epicor, CBIZ or similar product). Ability to become an expert user of such systems with training.Exceptionally strong organizational abilities, both in physical and electronic workspace.Flexible Work ScheduleWe would like someone who can work a consistent schedule, with some flexibility. This is a 20 hour per week role and we are open to discussing what hours work best, but work must be performed Monday-Friday during first shift. Most work is performed from our corporate office in Andover, Minnesota.
