Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Attend game day briefings to receive and share information about specific public safety concerns at Target Field * Observe visitors as they walk through a magnetometer looking for alarms indicating the person may have a prohibited object on their possession * Monitor your assigned area to assure an orderly flow of incoming visitors * Provide a visible, professional, law enforcement presence throughout your area of responsibility * Complete in-house reports to document any activity requiring such reports * Complete arrest reports and detention forms as required for physical arrests * Provide routine patrol throughout the stadium prior to, during, and after baseball games and other events occurring within the stadium * Respond to radio calls for service to any location inside or within the immediate vicinity of the stadium in a timely manner * Respond to public safety emergencies that could occur at Target Field including active threats, building evacuations, disturbances, fires, or other emergent events * Monitor and guard restricted areas for unauthorized visitors * Interact with guests/employees in a courteous manner * Understands and displays the values of the Minnesota Twins organization in the performance of their duties at Target Field * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Requirements: * Must be an active, licensed Minneapolis Police Officer in good standing * Must not be under current investigation for criminal or major policy infractions, or under suspension or on leave while under investigation * Ability to physically confront, restrain, and/or arrest unruly individuals * Ability to communicate effectively Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds * Ability to stand for an extended period of time * Ability to walk stairs repeatedly during shift * Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility * Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times * Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus * Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledPDN--4-bba4-d0473fb7e19a
