Sales Engineer - Civil Construction Products

We are seeking a career-driven individual for an exciting opportunity in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area!

Our client is a premier, US-based manufacturer of civil construction products, which are sold/specified into commercial and municipal projects. This company has a top-tier market position and a strong growth trajectory.

Following a 12-week training program, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for product specification and approvals for a group of highly specialized product lines. The territory for this position will be the state of Minnesota, with a main focus in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. This is a well established territory that offers strong opportunity for further growth.

This position involves working with engineering firms, municipalities and internal team members in order to increase product specification and sales in the territory. This is a consultative, solutions-oriented sales position which will require strong presentation and relationship management skills in addition to sales skills. There will be extensive training provided on the products.

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering/Construction Management is preferred. Other engineering degrees (including Mechanical Engineering) will also be considered. A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience is required. Prior experience in a client facing or sales role is desired for this position.
