Our Award winning team has received recognition from the American Health Care Association for our Adopt and Elder volunteer program and we received the Bronze commitment to quality award.
Our newly remolded building, 2011, offers private resident rooms with full wheelchair/lift accessible shower/bathrooms, and each wing has a full kitchen, common room, and nurses station!

This role will see you working from 11:00am to 7:00pm on M,W,F,Sat,Sun with every Tuesday and Thursday off, with a great weekend shift differential
Job Summary
If you're hungry for a great career, we're seeking a friendly, team-oriented and customer service driven Cook to assemble, prepare, season, and portion food for individuals within our facility. With our Cook position we offer flexible schedules, predictable hours, training, advancement opportunities, and benefits that are typically better than other restaurant-related jobs. With the variety of dietary needs our patients and residents have, employees that thrive as a Cook are great communicators, keep a sanitary culinary work environment, and are proficient with their reading and writing skills.
Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Ability to perform basic math. Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.
Depending upon location of hire, Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame. Additional endorsements to Serv Safe may be required depending upon location. Fulfill annual continuing education requirements of the department and facility including departmental meetings, safety education and mandatory in-services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location requirements.
Depending on location, may be required to drive. Valid Driver's License may be required.

- Prepares and provides the highest quality and safest food possible
- Follows standardized recipes and guidelines for cooks to prepare, store and use food
- Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- Performs washing and cleaning duties to insure sanitation
- Operates equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, food grinders, and more
