We are looking to add an experienced EHS manager to our team in the Green Bay, WI area. If you have relevant construction industry experience in the EHS field, let's talk!

What You Will Be Doing

As the EHS Manager, you will oversee our plant and field safety programs across the country. Our high standards require strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations as well as a proven track record of ensuring job site safety. You'll spend time in the field, so you will have to be comfortable navigating a construction site and managing the general contractor relationship from a safety perspective.

The ideal location for this position is in our Green Bay area facility, however, we will also consider a remote position that is within driving distance to the facility on a weekly/biweekly basis.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluates scope of work and creates safety plans for fabrication and installation projects per customer requirements
  • Inspects job site hazards for safety, health and environmental risks
  • Instills a safety culture within the install team that carries through to each job site
  • Maintains inspection policies and schedules on equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations
  • Ensures compliance with DOT regulations, including driving records, fleet maintenance and inspections
  • Leads all accident investigations in the field, looking for ways to avoid future occurrences
  • Participates in safety inspections mandated on certain projects
What You Need for this Position

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or similar
  • 5+ years' EHS experience in construction
  • Knowledge in crane operation, rigging, excavation, confined spaces, health hazards, fall protection, etc.
  • Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Associate Risk Management certs preferred
  • Ability to work in a variety of indoor/outdoor plant and construction environments
  • Ability to physically navigate a construction site
  • Ability to work out of town/stay overnight up to 25% of the time
