Business Strategy Analyst Direct Hire Location Remote and some in office, monthly as needed Eagan, MN Job Description The Business Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in helping senior leadership set the strategic direction for and manage the day-to-day business for a new direct-to-consumer window and door replacement business, called Marvin Replacement, launched in partnership with BCG Digital Ventures. This venture is a subsidiary of the highly respected premium window door manufacturer Marvin Windows Doors. The position will support the development of go-to-market strategy, pricing, and operational planning and analyses required to commercialize and scale the business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on strategic planning and implementation experience and will be able to apply that experience to play an instrumental role in the commercialization and expansion of the venture. They will quickly become a trusted advisor and source of truth for information in a fast-paced environment and will need to be an all-around team player as priorities evolve with Marvin Replacement. What you can expect to do Support in defining the strategic vision of the business and implement strategic initiatives to help grow and expand the business Define business case model options and collaborate in the ideation of new concepts, products, and services used to drive growth Conduct top-down and bottom-up analyses to support the revenue growth strategy defined by the leadership team Define expansion playbook using market data and research Drive competitive and market research in partnership with the Marketing and Customer Experience team (e.g., pricing assessments) Conduct ad-hoc analyses driven by the General Manager CEO including process design, financialoperational modeling, and data analysis Support go-to-market teams with the launch of new products and services Track business performance Collaborate with management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans Directly support the Director of Finance in assessing and tracking business performance through collection and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform prioritization of strategic initiatives Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the performance of marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure tracking of KPI goals Develop and refine the overall business plan and economic model Drive updates to the business plan while owning the economic model Define long-term revenue and cost projections based on business opportunity scoping and expected organizational needs Collaborate with other teams to refine model input assumptions based on business performance What we are looking for Bachelorrsquos andor masterrsquos degree in a quantitative field, such as Business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering 1-2 yearsrsquo experience at a top management consulting firm OR fast-paced, high-growth startup Significant experience with quantitative business and financial modeling Familiarity with data management and visualization tools, such as Alteryx and Tableau Experience in effectively managing a project or workstream Effective and fast-moving - can efficiently determine which details matter and which do not, and then prioritize accordingly using good judgment Highly detailed, organized, and structured problem solver Fast-paced learner and self-starter Comfortable with ambiguity Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skill Additional consideration will be given to individuals who, in addition to the above, have home improvement, construction industry, or related experience
