Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA), a division of Amcor, operates across 35 plants and employs 9,000 colleagues within North America with headquarters in Chicago, IL and Oshkosh, WI. AFNA makes flexible packaging solutions for food and beverage, healthcare, and home and personal care applications.

Job Description

This position acts as a partner to the Amcor Flexibles North America (AFNA) Executive team and global Senior Leaders, enhancing their effectiveness by providing outstanding and confidential support, and works proactively as a lead resource of the Executive Leadership Team support staff. The accountabilities of this role have inherent exposure to Board of Director activities, as well as to global operations and impacts.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

* Performs high level executive and operational support; exercises independent judgement based on analysis and experience; researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the AFNA executive(s), including those of a sensitive or confidential nature
* Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a multi-tasking approach that facilitate the AFNA Executive's ability to effectively lead their respective area of accountability; these work deliverables typically have Board of Director, Investor Relations, and/or global exposure
* Manages and maintains extremely active calendars; schedules meetings, conferences, and appointments; manages conflicts and adjusts to changes in a fast paced environment
* Provides "gatekeeper" and "get-a-way" role to maximize the Leaders' time
* Coordinates and leads enterprise projects with several variables: organizes meetings, conferences, workshops, training programs and special events; includes all facets of meeting planning, research, and negotiations for off-site locations; hotel rooms, catering, flights and ground transportation; preparing materials and presentations; coordinating activities and agenda/meeting notices; IT and AV support
* Initiates processes and practices to improve executive office effectiveness
* Coordinates complex and detailed travel arrangements which can include domestic and international airfare, hotel and ground transportation; creating travel itineraries and agendas; and compiling documents for travel related meetings; arranges passports and visas for the AFNA Executive(s)
* Acts as a resource to others to solve problems and/or mentor in all capabilities of the Executive Assistant role; provides guidance regarding projects and key deliverables to assure an organized, professional outcome
* Prepares and schedules expense reports for AFNA Executive(s)
* Maintains and updates SharePoint site, distribution lists, and organizational charts
* Special projects as assigned

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

* Bachelor's degree
* 5 years of relevant experience in a C-Suite or comparable environment
* Requires the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
* Requires high proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Photoshop, and Illustrator
* Capable of working extra hours whenever necessary
