Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive product strategy vision through building relationships and roadmap development
• Translate product strategy into actionable items for engineering teams to execute on
• Own the engineering roadmap and work with stakeholders to define use cases and develop technical requirements for executing on a platform solution build
• Manage overall profit and loss financials for platform product
• Establish processes for platform build and implementations/integrations
• Build configuration standards and tools/reporting to ensure standards are met and exceptions documented/understood
• Deliver solutions that can easily adapt to work with multiple cloud and on-prem solutions
• Create material to inform business teams on how the processes work and what is configurable
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and scope features to be prioritized into product roadmap that balances customer and platform needs and engineering maturation
• Balance competing technical development priorities that allow for new development, maintenance of current system capabilities, bug fixes and technical debt

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience leading technical product strategy, build and implementation
• 5+ years of experience managing teams tasked with healthcare benefit delivery and oversight
• Experience with feature definition and writing technical user stories with acceptance criteria that reflect business, functional, security and quality expectations
• Experience working with scrum teams in an agile engineering environment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical and non-technical employees
• High attention to detail including ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work within a highly regulated environment with healthcare technology
• Ability to be an advocate for engineering team as the liaison between the teams, leadership and stakeholders

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
