This resource will be on the VMware Engineering team which supports VMware Architecture/Design and Optum Digital Infrastructure Standups related projects with a focus on vSphere (ESXi, vCenter Server), VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) , VMware vSAN, and VMware NSX-T.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for vSphere Engineering, VCF Engineering (ESXi, vCenter Server, VCF, vSAN)
• Accountability includes vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation
• Extensive VMware vSphere knowledge (Certificates Management), vCenter Server and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Working experience on VCF, vSphere, vSAN, SDDC Manager deployments
• Maintain current, high-level technical knowledge of VMware product line and future product direction and expert level Knowledge of the core VMware vSphere product line and VMware Cloud Foundation
• Assist in the development of SOP's and internal standards documentation
• Experience on scripting tools i.e. Python PowerShell???etc. will be an added advantage
• Familiar with ticketing tools in order to track down incidents and break fix request [ Service Now]
• Windows/Linux Server operating systems in a Virtualized VMware Environments
• Monitoring of Environmental issues [VROPS Knowledge Would be preferred]
• Troubleshoot servers through console [ Knowledge of ILO/IDRAC/HMC preferred]
• NSX-T would be an added advantage
• ESXi and vCenter Troubleshooting
• ITIL concepts such as Incident, Change and Problem Management

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience responsible for vSphere Engineering, VCF Engineering (ESXi, vCenter Server, VCF, vSAN)
• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting servers through console [ Knowledge of ILO/IDRAC/HMC preferred]
• 7+ years of experience ESXi and vCenter Troubleshooting
• 7+ years maintaining current, high-level technical knowledge of VMware product line and future product direction and expert level knowledge of the core VMware 2+ 2+ vSphere product line and VMware Cloud Foundation
• 7+ years of experience assisting in the development of SOP's and internal standards documentation
• 7+ years of experience with Windows/Linux Server operating systems in a Virtualized VMware Environments
• 5+ years of experience in VMware vSphere knowledge (Certificates Management), vCenter Server and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• 2+ years of experience in vSphere and VMware Cloud Foundation
• 2+ years of experience on VCF, vSphere, vSAN, SDDC Manager deployments
• 2+ years of experience on scripting tools i.e. Python PowerShell???etc. will be an added advantage
• 2+ years of experience with ticketing tools in order to track down incidents and break fix request [ Service Now]
• 2+ years of monitoring of Environmental issues [VROPS Knowledge Would be preferred]

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600.
