YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible to develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Create continuous improvement environment through training associates, investigating defects, generating recommendations, and implementing solutions based on the use of analytical tools.
  • Responsible for item slotting and developing appropriate layouts to support processes.
  • Determine, develop, and implement appropriate levels of automation and mechanization using sound financial analysis and justification.
  • Support distribution safety initiatives. Work with SHE to improve methods, including evaluating new processes and/or procedures for a safe environment.
  • Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommend methods for maximum asset utilization of facilities and personnel. Implement required improvements in workflow.
  • Analyze and develop engineered labor standards utilizing time and motion studies, statistical analysis, and manpower planning tools to improve productivity and service levels to customers and to facilitate incentive programs


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited college in related discipline.
  • 3-5 years' professional relevant experience with knowledge of lean six sigma methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AutoCAD, and Experience with WMS including slotting in a large multi brand distribution environment to maximize efficiency.
  • Experience in developing and implementing engineered work standards, Labor Management systems and incentive programs.
  • Ability to manage, drive and accept accountability for project progress and quality, and achieve stated goals.
  • Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to perform analyses and identify solutions to resolve specific distribution and logistics needs.
  • Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates at all levels of the organization and strong project management skills.
