What We Accomplish Together

If you enjoy displaying your exceptional customer service skills while interacting with a wide variety of guests, the Night Auditor position is the job for you. Night Auditors play a very important role in the overall functions of the Edgewater. As a Night Auditor, you will work overnight to ensure guests have a seamless check in and check out, balance hotel daily revenues, post and balance payments, settle credit cards and maintain files, and reset the systems for next day operations all while maintaining an energetic, professional, and welcoming demeanor. The Edgewater demands the highest quality of customer service, and the Night Auditor position reflects that as you are often times the first person they meet upon their arrival. What You Have

  • Previous guest service experience. Experience within a hospitality role is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • The physical ability to carry out all job duties efficiently.
  • Knowledge of accounting operations to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, and excel spreadsheets and the ability to accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • A caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in ensuring our customers have memorable experiences.
  • A team-oriented attitude and a detail-focused mind.
  • Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • A flexible schedule to accommodate our overnight, weekend and holiday availability.

Working Conditions

This position operates in a professional office environment. The role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires weekend work.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
