Truterra Carbon Operations Project Manager

Description:

The Truterra Carbon Operations Project Manager will be responsible for successfully leading large complex, business/IT projects and will deliver projects that are on time and on-budget and produce high quality deliverables that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing project management processes and methodologies, adhering to best practices
  • Working effectively with internal and external customers, third party vendors and department management in accomplishing project objectives


  • Performing moderately complex tasks that require knowledge of multiple business areas, technology platforms, project management expertise and understanding of IT foundations


Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
  • 10+ years of experience leading increasingly complex projects including agriculture, soil and water conservation, Software as a Service (SaaS) and any combination of these
  • Experience motivating large cross-functional teams and the ability to interact effectively with any level of management up to the executive level


  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools, project planning and design, systems development life cycle, estimating, project tracking, resource management, change management, risk management, coaching, negotiating, influencing, budget and financial planning and tracking, problem solving, relationship management


Competencies-Skills (Required):

  • Proven leadership skills and strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence people across the organization in one-on-one, small team and large audience settings
  • High degree of integrity and be effective at quickly establishing rapport and trust with key leaders in a matrix organization


  • Ability to manage competing priorities, multiple projects concurrently and work within tight deadlines. Strong collaborative, proactive and interpersonal skills
  • Strong process analysis and systematic thinking skills and the ability to consistently deliver targeted business outcomes
