Document Analyst I/Buyer
Purpose: Responsible for the support of the Engineering document, data, and electronic files control system. Purchase production components and raw materials and services for TEAM Industries
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
* Maintains Engineering resource library
* Maintains hard copy files, including archives
* Contributes to the maintenance of the finished good product history
* Oversees the availability, quality, and integrity of master prints and hard copy print history
* Contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives by pursuing, analyzing, and suggesting ideas for better workflow, systems, and information sharing
* Purchase components and raw materials to support manufacturing schedules
* Maintain pro-active relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal price and delivery
* Participate in meetings with management to reconcile purchase price variance issues
* Work with receiving and suppliers to address/correct delivery discrepancies
* Update raw material forecast
* Participate with Production Supervisors and Planners in daily production scheduling meetings
* Expedite past due purchase orders as required to avoid material shortage issues
* Match order acknowledgements with purchase orders to ensure compliance
* Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
* Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
* Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* One or two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Must have proficient computer skills
* Strong mathamatical abilities
