Responsible for execution of quality assurance and quality systems applications within the quality department and across the business. Apply proactive, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating and resolving quality issues. As a quality representative, lead or support project(s) and teams on a variety of production matters. Utilize a diversified knowledge of engineering, software verification, and practices to execute quality assurance and quality systems applications within the department and across the business


Main Responsibilities

??? Drives corrective and preventive actions for internal nonconformance's.

??? Monitors scrap performance versus objectives, provide insights and data analysis for scrap defect resolution.

??? Prepares and updates Process flow charts, Control Plans, PFMEA, while focusing on RPN reduction.

??? Generate Quality Assurance Department procedures and work instructions.

??? Maintain adherence to company policies and safety standards.

??? Awareness of and assure compliance to assigned Customer specific requirements.

??? Assists in disposition of contained product.

??? Assures that training and development needs are identified.

??? Develops short and long-range objectives.


Position Requirements

??? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred

??? Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality related position.

??? Experience in problem solving & corrective action development and management with a teamwork approach

??? Customer service skills along with automotive and/or die casting experience is preferred

??? Proven knowledge of Statistical techniques, Process control charts, data collection and analysis

??? Systematic problem solving and resolution (including brainstorming techniques like 5Why, Fishbone, etc.

??? Experience with IATF, AIAG, PPAP, APQP, and automotive industry procedures.

??? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab, GD&T.

??? Critical thinking and communication skills.
