Application Support Engineer

**Kelly is seeking an Application Support Engineer with experience writing complex SQL queries for our client in the Healthcare Industry in Saint Paul, MN for a 2+month contract to possible hire.**

Pay: **$41/hour (W-2)**

Type: **Contract W2-There is no "per diem" with this position. There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs. NO C2C, at this time we are not in the position to offer any type of sponsorships or VISA transfers for this position.**

Contract Length: **10/25/2021 to 12/31/2021 possibility of conversion**

Location: **Saint Paul, MN**

**A Day in the Life:**

+ Provide support for business applications, including performing incident triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for reported issues.

+ Proactively communicate incident status and impact details to both partners and management.

+ Partner with internal teams to resolve issues and escalate issues to appropriate teams when necessary.

+ Create and maintain application support procedures and documentation.

+ Review application changes and perform production certification for acceptance of changes into production status and ensure that changes comply with support and documentation standards.

+ Provide on-call coverage and after hours support as needed; this role will require on-call work one per month, for one week. Hours are flexible but will be based on team needs.

**Requirements:**

+ Candidate must be eligible to convert without sponsorship

+ 3+ years of experience with hands on technical troubleshooting, incident management, and system monitoring experience.

+ 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, performing data analysis, reporting, and making data driven decisions.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle escalated issues and competing priorities while maintaining a sense of urgency.

+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to break down complex problems and develop action plan.

+ Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in fast paced environment.

+ Strong attention to detail and a customer focus.

**Preferred Requirements:**

+ Experience working with and troubleshooting REST APIs

+ Experience testing against use cases

+ Experience with Atlassian tools - JIRA and Confluence

+ Knowledge of coding and web development practices

+ General knowledge of AWS cloud platform
