Summary:
If you are self-motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy multitasking, please read on! The QTI Group is assisting our client, a well-established roofing contractor, in recruiting to hire a part-time Accounting/Office Assistant located on the southeast side of Madison. The flexible schedule for this role will include 20 to 25 hours per week between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. This position offers a pay rate of $18+/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
* Enter customer invoices and vendor bills
* Assist with check runs and posting to the general ledger
* Apply cash and posting payments
* Process credit applications for new customers
* Provide phone coverage as needed
* Filing, scan documents, complete construction liens etc.
* Perform other duties as business needs require
Qualifications:
* HS diploma or equivalent required
* Associate degree in Accounting or related field or 1+ years' experience
* Accounting experience a plus including bookkeeping or office manager experience
* Use of Sage system a plus but not required
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Willingness to complete a background and credit check upon accepted offer
