The QP RN is responsible for setting up PCA services for clients with complex health needs as determined by their PCA assessment. You will develop client care plans with input from the responsible party and assessment document. You will serve as a resource for the client, responsible party or PCA on appropriate program use and other services to help meet the health and safety needs of the client in the community. QP RN's will assist in training, supervision and evaluation of services, as well as ensuring quality assurance of the PCA services at Accra Care. Our QP RN's are expected to stay abreast of current policies and changes to the program, and to participate in committees and meetings to enhance their knowledge of services beneficial to their clients.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, accompanied by nursing experience working in a hospital or home-health care setting.
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric care is nice to have.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of services needed by people with disabilities and the elderly in Minnesota.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of home health care requirements, regulations and protocols a plus.
  • Demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to affect change and demonstrate positive leadership.
  • High commitment to service and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state statutes applicable to services for people with disabilities and the elderly in Minnesota
  • Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
