YOUR ROLE

This role will be located either in Charlotte, NC or remotely in Chesapeake, VA.
  • The National Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of profitable sales volumes of the company's full line of consumer products to key customer accounts via proper development and execution of trade programs. The role handles key customer accounts including Family Dollar, Dollar Tree and Big Lots.
  • Establish and develop business relationships with key customer personnel as well as multi-departmental contacts within customer accounts.
  • Partners with sales planning to develop account specific plans to maximize sales potential and generate the most profitable sale volume.
  • Development and presentation of key account business reviews to mutually grow business and profits.
  • Develop specific marketing programs and identify opportunities to achieve distribution of new and existing products through display and ad merchandising and category and shelf management.
  • Conducts analysis of business results vs. objectives using knowledge of customer's business to interpret current and future market conditions and trends.


YOUR SKILLS

  • BA degree plus 4-5+ years directly related experience.
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills; strong organization, time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and exploit syndicated data, etc. Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Category management skills - proficient at fact-based selling.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - promotes teamwork and partnering
