Associate Finance Manager - KCNA Supply Chain

Job Description
The Associate Finance Manager reports directly to the Finance Team Leader - KCNA Supply Chain and will be a financial advisor to the leaders of the Baby & Child Care Supply Chain organization for North America Consumer Products. As an integral member of the team, the individual will be responsible for influencing sound business decisions including business planning, financial forecasting, proactive analysis, and value creation to deliver on our profitable growth objectives.

Key customers include:

  • Cost Transformation Leaders (across all Consumer businesses)


  • Brand Finance leaders and team members (across all Consumer businesses)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Centralized COS finance resource supporting various COS key drivers


  • Valued partner within KCNA Value Creation working closing with cross-functional supply chain team leaders/members to drive and optimize cost savings for KCNA


  • Coordinate KCNA COS Governance, which entails leading a cross-business finance team managing the COS forecast and results, COS Anaplan (cloud-based business planning platform) model, and other COS initiatives/processes.


  • Provide management with financial advice and counsel on all pertinent business matters by supplying ongoing, timely, and meaningful financial analysis of actual performance, business plans, and other discreet projects.


  • Provide a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to assure sound analyses, recommendations, and actionable programs arise across a wide range of business or financial opportunities (strategy development/execution, cost transformation, cost to serve, inventory management).


  • Ensure application of efficient and effective financial and operating controls within the Corporation. Promote sound internal control programs and support the Corporation's requirement for strong central financial control by reporting, to the Assoc. Director, Finance - KCNA, whenever Corporate Financial Policies or instructions are not being followed or appear inappropriate, inadequate or out-of-date.


  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support.


Education required/preferred:
  • BS Finance Related Field, MBA Preferred


Experience:
  • 5+ years proven and progressive experience in corporate finance
  • A proven track record of high performance
  • The incumbent must have a high degree of financial competence. Knowledge of the financial and business implications of general business practices is essential
  • Experience with management reporting, P&L and Analysis of change. Prior FP&A experience preferred
  • Experience applying LEAN principles and tools to enable effective problem solving preferred
