Job Title

Director of Project Management

Job Summary

As a member of senior management, the Director of Project Management leads, directs, and manages operations. This position develops all budgets, relationships, strategies, quality programs, and expansion opportunities in association with Contract's Statement of Work (SOW) and organizational goals.

Essential Functions

Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

* Plans, directs, and executes the various program functions associated with SOW within corporate and government budgets. Typically, with annual revenue less than $50 million
* Negotiates and administers contract terms with government entities to be most beneficial to the organization and meet overall strategy
* Maintains and manages complex network of relationships with federal government personnel both in program and acquisition offices
* Builds positive relationships with state associations and organizations, vendors, and other contractors
* Serves as a key liaison for escalated congressional inquiries and operational issues as they arise
* Directs operational activities and proposal activities in support of contract ensuring compliance with contract requirements, state and federal laws, and organizational rules and policies
* Provides accurate and informational reports to federal government, board of directors, and executive leadership
* Justifies all government contract reports including both operational and financial
* Improves organizational performance through ongoing coaching of employees as well as initiating innovative alternatives for process improvements
* Maintains strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategies into actionable strategies
* Plans and develops contract and corporate budgets to ensure adequate funds to support contract performance and overall company financial health
* Supports the development of annual department and corporate planning process by coordinating and communicating an understanding of external healthcare market, recognizing trends, problems, opportunities, and upcoming changes with federal government
* Provides leadership, development, and operational management for the organization
* Plans and executes organizational strategy, coordinates resources, and develops and evaluates work of assigned staff
* May provide guidance on evaluating the circumstances of cases related to suspected fraud to support potential investigations and fraud prevention procedures

Non-Essential Duties and Functions

* May delegate assignments to direct reporting staff

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
* 10 years' progressively increasing responsibility in health insurance operations
* 3 years' experience in a leadership role of managing complex systems and workflows
* Specific contracts may require: 6+ years professional experience with 3 years managing complex systems and workflow. Requires masters degree or additional 4-year work equivalent experience as determined by HR.
* Specific contracts may require: Compliance, Investigation and Fraud Prevention experience required. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI) required.
* SOW Key Personnel requirements
* Highly skilled and motivated individual with the ability to lead projects and produce results
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Above requirements and the following:

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, Economics, or closely related field
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

* Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively and problem solve
* Requires prolonged sitting and telephone use
* Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, copiers, and printers
* Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds
* Infrequent stooping
* Periodic overnight travel up to 25%

working/residing in the state of Colorado.

Colorado Salary Range: $88,503.34- $145,565.00

Other Compensation: Self-Managed PTO, Incentive plan
