Description:

The Consultant assists in the management of accounting, tax, compliance and administration functions of the mutual funds and separate accounts.

Description:
??? Coordinate missing pricings and manage the daily valuation of the mutual funds
??? Perform various fund administration tasks and oversight controls over the outsourced fund accountant. includes preparation and review of reconciliations, compliance tests and other monitoring.
??? Preparation and/or review of the financial statements and regulatory filings for Series Fund and/or Separate Accounts including Form NPORT, Prospectus, Annual report, or Green Blank
??? Assists with preparation of audit requests

Requirements:
Portfolios are investment options of the Separate Accounts. When policy holders own certain variable products, their money is invested in these portfolios. The Series Fund is a registered investment company which must comply with the 1940 ACT. This role could have involvement with both the Series Fund and Separate Account operations. Strong understanding of accounting for investments, knowledge of US GAAP, experience with financial statement preparation and/or regulatory reporting. Prior mutual fund administration and/or separate account experiences.

Note:
Schedule dependent on the experience and capabilities of the candidate. Certain tasks performed by the team need to be done between the hours of 7AM to 9AM while other tasks need to be done between 4PM and 6:30PM. These tasks typically rotate through the team, but the candidate could be asked to perform some of these tasks on a more frequent basis. When not assigned to the above-mentioned tasks, the standard hours are between 8:30AM and 5:30PM. When assigned to the early morning or end of day tasks described above, the total expected hours worked in a day is not expected to exceed 8 hours. Whether this position would be onsite or remote is undetermined and could in fact change during the assignment. It will be onsite once enough of the team members are also onsite.
