Looking for highly a motivated individual that has experience in implementation and management of database security products in a large database environment to be part of a team of database security engineers. This position will implement, develop and test database security tools and processes to provide controls and security in the database environments. Provides implementation, monitoring and support of the data protection and database auditing tools. This position works closely with the database and security engineering teams for requirements gathering to turn them into effective processes, alerting and reporting solutions.

This role will allow learning and growth on our database platform and security technologies.



Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of process definition and documentation experience
  • 3+ years of Information Security Tools Development Unix and Windows experience
  • 5+ years of database security, database administration experience, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of scripting experience using Windows Powershell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java or PL-SQL
  • 5+ years of experience with multiple RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata or DB2 LUW
  • 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
  • 4+ years of information technology applications and systems experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of application security planning and security architecture
  • Knowledge and understanding of Big Data
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security risk assessment or audit
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
  • Experience with technology related regulatory requirements and frameworks including: FFIEC, COBIT, COSO, NIST, ITIL
  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3 + years of experience in combination of database masking, database monitoring or database vulnerabilities
  • Experience with Azure services for database servers and instances
  • Knowledge in Azure Arc hybrid and multi-cloud environment
  • Understanding of cloud authentication (AWS and GCP) for managed database instances
  • Experience with Database authentication tools, database firewall and Encryption is preferred
  • Good understanding of NIST and CIS Database Security standards


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
IL-Chicago: Min: $96,300 Mid: $137,500
NY-New York: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
MA-Boston: Min: $105,000 Mid: $150,000
NC-Raleigh: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
MO-Saint Louis: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
TX-Irving: Min: $87,500 Mid: $125,000
PA-Philadelphia: Min: $96,300 Mid: $137,500
