Position Summary:

Thousands of Minnesota kids struggle in math and you can make all the difference. Offer your time and talent as a tutor and be more for these students.

As an Elementary Math Tutor, you'll help students in grades K-3 to improve their skills and confidence. With great training and onsite coaching, we'll prepare you to work one-on-one or with pairs of students to build fundamental math skills.

Tutors have the option of beginning in October 2021 or January 2022. If you apply by October 22, you may be eligible for a $250 recruitment incentive! See details below.

This is an AmeriCorps member position with Math Corps. Although the earnings are modest, the rewards are great! You'll join an amazing group of 500 tutors, determined to help students be more.

What to Expect:
Be a change maker by providing structured math tutoring 1:1 or in small groups of students during school hours.
Be committed to helping students build their skills and confidence.

Be the motivation by representing Math Corps at school-sponsored activities to help build awareness of Math Corps.
Be an ambassador of the program by sharing your experience with the wider community.
