Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our Building Consulting Practice Group. In this role you will provide support on projects ranging from daily residential claims to complex large losses. In addition, you will be responsible for communicating with clients and insured's contacts, scheduling inspections and detailed take-off of property condition, as well as, estimating, analyzing and reporting for complex property damage - claims projects.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 10 years of mitigation and restoration, field construction, project management, roofing, or equivalent experience in the construction field. The candidate would have a strong desire to understand and learn the methodology for negotiating and settling files in a timely manner and to apply strong analysis and writing skills to expert reports.

Job Responsibilities:

Interface with clients and project representatives.
Perform field inspections and necessary site visits.
Estimating of medium to large projects. Xactimate knowledge is a plus.
Document review and analysis of schedules, contracts, change orders, correspondence, daily reports, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and any additional documents relating to a project.
Provide technical direction to consultants.
Excellent communication skills to ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
Collaborate with Business Development Managers to help develop new business opportunities and continue to nurture and strengthen existing client relationships.

Ideal candidates exhibit the following attributes and background:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or industry level experience.
Minimum 10+ years working in the restoration, field construction, scheduling, and project management experience.
Proficient in Xactimate or RS Means estimating is highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Desired Qualifications:

Industry related degrees, credentials, or certifications.
Willingness to travel overnight, out-of-state, or abroad.
Strong project management skills.
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Strong independent work ethic and leadership qualities.

Travel is required as necessary.
