Be a part of the National Marketing team responsible for creating and delivering marketing strategies for the Medicare Advantage (MA) and Dual Special Needs (DSNP) plans. This Marketing Manager will work directly with assigned regional partners to help reach member acquisition and retention goals. Strategies include but are not limited to direct marketing, media campaigns, field marketing and materials. Marketing Managers must have deep knowledge of the business model supporting MA and DSNP sales, as well as, all initiatives taking place nationally. They collaborate with local sales and health plan partners to suggest and implement CMS approved strategies for each specific market.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop local media strategies as appropriate for markets and work with vendors to execute on those strategies in collaboration with sales and plan leadership
  • Have knowledge of CMS requirements for creation of marketing materials and sales activities
  • Work with internal agency partners in the development of marketing assets
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the national sales, plan leadership and field sales agents
  • Gain an understanding of the product, the community, and the business plan for each of your assigned markets
  • Provide reporting and understanding around local campaigns to national and plan leadership
  • Have a basic understanding of the overall financial model and the specific marketing budget for each plan
  • Help to promote best practices for national strategies in each of the plans you represent
  • Manage the set up and the delivery of field marketing materials; this includes updates for brand and for benefit/product changes each year

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing including direct-to-consumer D2C marketing experience
  • Intermediate to expert level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel up to 25% of time within this MN market area
  • Live within commutable distance to Minnetonka, MN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with campaigns and agent support in health care industry
  • CMS knowledge
  • Insurance sales experience
  • Experience managing agency partner relationship
  • Customer/account management experience including acquisition and retention goals
  • Experience working with Medicare Advantage (MA), Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP), Medicare and/or Medicaid
