FLSA Status: Exempt (Salary)

Office Location: Wauwatosa

Travel: Minimal 10% - 20% to Madison for training

What You'll do as an Enrollment Coordinator

Summary

This position is responsible for processing enrollment applications and provide backup the change routing form process, initial MA Review calls, and follow-up for verifications. In addition, this position prepares and sends new member packets and responds to calls from the main intake line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Process enrollment applications and review all new applications for Medicaid and/or Medicare eligibility.
* Process changes routing forms within compliance timelines.
* Assist Enrollment Reps in Medicaid Review Calls to members
* Backup for Medicare Enrollment Specialist
* Respond to calls for department phone line providing quality customer service.
* Send new member packets within compliance timelines.
* Assist with projects as assigned.
* Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
* Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
* Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents
* Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.

What Youll Bring to the Role - Minimum Qualifications Required

* 1-3 years of experience in data entry or equivalent training.
* Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM.
* Experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word).
* Strong computer skills.
* Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.
* Working knowledge of office equipment including a computer, telephone, scanner, calculator, and photocopier
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to think analytically.
* Efficient typing skills.
* Effective organizational and prioritization with ability to consistently complete work in and accurate and timely manner.
* Detail oriented.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships and provide outstanding customer service internally and externally.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to evaluate processes and procedures for continuous process improvement.
* Ability to adapt to and work effectively in a fast paced and changing environment with multiple priorities.
* Basic keyboarding, word processing and data entry skills.
* High School diploma and two years administrative experience or a combination of equivalent education and/or experience.
* Occasional Travel to other MCW offices (*Note: This would be occasional travel to Madison location for training).

Preferred Qualifications

* Customers Service experience is a plus (*Note: This is due to working with internal and external customers, i.e., ADRCs).
