Our successful candidate will have previous public company experience working in a multi-location operation that is B2B (business to business) with a strong preference towards building products. Furthermore, our ideal candidate will have prior sitting CFO experience, and will have successfully demonstrated themselves as a progressive, forward-thinking business partner to the CEO.
As Chief Financial Officer you will provide counsel to the leadership team on all financial and business matters across the entire entity that focuses on maximizing profitability and cash flow generation. Along with the CEO, this person will have full fiduciary responsibility across the entire enterprise and will be expected to participate with the executive team in setting the overall company vision, direction, and implementation of new strategies.

Responsibilities
- 20+ years of direct accounting / financial analysis experience in progressively responsible roles, including 10 or more years of experience managing a professional team of accountants
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to develop solid internal working relationships across organizational or functional boundaries as well as outside working relationships with securities analysts, shareholders, and service providers to the company
- Proven ability to apply analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking to the planning process
- Extensive leadership experience in a publicly traded company
- Excellent technical knowledge and well versed in treasury, budgeting, investor relations, information technology, and business risk management
- Robust business acumen which includes knowledge about how businesses work, business trends and the implications to their business, strong competitive knowledge, and how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to quickly and positively influence all levels of the organization; ability to deliver succinct executive communication.
- Extensive Public company experience including multi-site (B-2-B or B-2-C)
- Prior experience sitting in the #1 seat (CFO of a smaller public or larger private company)
- Previous integration experience
- Demonstrated success in leading Investor Relations
- Proven collaborative and deliberate leadership style
- Prior business intelligence systems experience
