This position is for an enthusiastic, independent Physician Assistant who will provide support to the University of Minnesota Physicians Orthopedic Surgeons and provide musculoskeletal care at CentraCare/St. Cloud Hospital, ambulatory surgery center and clinic. This individual will be responsible for providing all aspects of pre and post-operative patient care, assisting in surgery, completing consults at the various sites, along with level II trauma call responsibilities. Applicants should have a strong interest in Orthopaedic problems and/or a background in orthopedic medicine. They will have a balanced practice between clinic and surgical settings. The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years' experience working in Orthopaedic Surgery, however all applicants will be considered.
This candidate will be expected to function at a very high level of independence assessing and evaluating Orthopaedic patients and consults.

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program. Current PA license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice. Certified through the NCCPA and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges. First Assist Certification.
