Project Engineer - Construction - Heavy Highway

Our client, a $2B industry leading Heavy Civil/Heavy Highway construction firm with a $500M regional office that self-performs its own excavation, underground utilities and concrete structures is now hiring a Project Engineer to assist projects in the Fargo/Morehead area. The Project Engineer will be handling several projects from cradle to grave, managing the entire construction process with full project P&L responsibility with the Project Manager.

*Requirements: *

* 2+ years of heavy civil / heavy highway construction experience
* Mass excavation, underground utilities &/or concrete structures experience
* Experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Project
* 4-year degree, ideally Engineering or Construction related

* Ability to assist in managing $30-100M heavy highway/heavy civil projects along side the Project Manager and Project Superintendent

*Must have experience with the following: *

* Submittals
* Change orders and claims
* RFIs
* Pay applications
* Purchase Orders
* Project costs and budgets
* General overall correspondence
* Scheduling, including 3 week look ahead and CPM scheduling with Primavera P6
* SWPPP plans

*Compensation: *

* Salary DOE, $70k to $100k/yr DOE
* Company vehicle/ allowance DOE
* Health Benefits
* Annual Bonus, 10% +/-
* Profit sharing, 8-10%
* 401k with company match
* 3+ weeks PTO
* Relocation assistance negotiable
