How will you make an impact?

MGIC is looking for a passionate and creative Internal Communications Manager to join its Human Resource Team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic internal communications designed to engage, inform and support MGIC's key initiatives and bring together elements of PR and community relations messaging.

* Create a framework for a regular cadence of communication by CEO and other senior leaders to co-workers through a variety of channels: Town Halls, webinars, videos, written materials, social media, and digital/interactive communications.

* Capture the authentic voice of leadership in storytelling and providing messaging that supports key initiatives and programs to deliver a vision to co-workers.

* Collaborate with appropriate leaders to develops proactive PR and community relations communication strategy to ensure alignment with corporate and department goals (Corporate giving and volunteer programs).

* Develop plan to improve enterprise communication effectiveness against KPIs and metrics around content, tone, channel optimization, feedback, and executive visibility.

* Monitor and manage relevant internal communications topics and trends (both externally and internally) that could impact MGIC's business strategy, co-workers, and company culture.

* Manage a team that executes and produces clear, concise and engaging content that meets communication objectives.

* Work cross-functionally across teams of Human Resources, and partner with Marketing to develop engaging, impactful internal narratives about MGIC, including our culture, and what makes us a great place to work.

Do you have what it takes?

* 7+ years experience in progressively more responsible communications roles

* Ability to influence conversation and work through building of relationships and translate

* Experience managing and implementing corporate brand/PR/communications strategies and measuring results.

* Experience with media relations and PR communications.

* Ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives and strong storytelling and engagement experience
