Come join our growing Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Marketing Team! We are hiring a driven, passionate, and global-minded Associate Product Manager to work in our fast-paced Upstream Marketing Team.

The Associate Product Manager position is a highly visible role that will help shape the direction of our business through development of opportunity assessments, financial models, and voice of customer in support of programs that accelerate growth of the CAS business. You will be responsible for creating deliverables that help inform the Strategic Plan, Portfolio Prioritization, and the Annual Operating Plan. You will also drive analytics, market research and insights we work to achieve our goal of leadership in the EP Ablation market

Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Solutions is located in Minneapolis, MN. This role may be open to remote for well qualified individuals.

A Day in the Life
  • Assists with prioritizing market & customer needs, translates into new product requirements, and aligns business stakeholders around key strategic opportunities.
  • Develops a coordinated, long-range portfolio plan that meets customer (payer, physician, consumer) requirements.
  • Participates on development core teams as the marketing core team member to represent voice of customer, strategic fit, business and financial opportunities.
  • Works with product managers and R&D teams to translate customer requirements into meaningful projects/products and negotiates trade-offs necessary to meet technical feasibility and customer requirements.
  • Interfaces with physicians to identify key strategic areas of focus and obtain feedback regarding current and future product plans.
  • Executes physician advisory boards, society trade shows, market research and insights to understand key business drivers in strategic markets across the globe.
  • Reviews and understands market analytics, trends, and competitive landscape to inform opportunity and financial assessments.
  • Partners to understand P&L and how decisions impact the financial viability of new innovations.
  • Builds deep expertise in the EP ablation space including disease states, therapies, competitive landscape, clinical and evidence data, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborates with Global Downstream Marketing, Finance, R&D, R&T, Regulatory, Clinical, and other functional areas.
  • Exercises judgment in planning, organizing, and executing work; monitoring performance, and reports on program status.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time, within the U.S. and Internationally


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
To be considered, these minimum requirements must be evident on your resume:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, engineering, clinical, consulting or similar with a Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience.


Nice to Have
  • MBA
  • Experience working in medical device or healthcare industry
  • Advanced Excel Skills, including pivot tables, lookups and other built in functionality to aggregate and analyze data from diverse sources
  • Prior experience developing market models and interpreting market data
  • Experience developing and delivering business presentations to executive management
  • Product planning, market research, sales analytics, financial modeling, or sales experience
