Substitute Food Service Workers 2021-2022 School Year

Description: This position will substitute as a cook, assistant cook, line server, dishwasher, and salad prep at various locations available throughout the district, Fargo North Dakota. Shifts vary, but most are between 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. Assists in the final preparation and service of lunch. Helps with clean-up. Ensures compliance with departmental procedures in elementary kitchens in the absence of the manager. Works as a team member to ensure student satisfaction.
 
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Shows interest and enthusiasm in preparing and serving a nutritious meal of high quality.
Able to prepare food according to standardized recipes.
Requires basic math skills for accurate measuring and recipe conversion.
Must have the ability to stand and walk during entire shift; the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, lift, pull, and reach for short periods of time.
Must follow safety and sanitation procedures; keep a neat and clean appearance; must have the knowledge of standardized work routines in 2-8 weeks.
