HOW YOU WILL DO IT Purpose Statement: Site expert in the area of Purchasing/Material Control, driving operational improvement through implementation of best practices and management of the Supply Chain Value Stream Key Job Accountabilities: * Lead a site three-year strategy of site capabilities in alignment with a global strategy and customer requirements. * Execute to Plexus Escalation Process in order to effectively drive material and resolve shortages. * Ensure Focus Factory Purchasing team execution in alignment with a global strategy and customer requirements. * Lead Matrix organization of Purchasing team at Neenah site and PSA Purchasing team. * Direct management of MRO team at Neenah site. * Develop and execute training and best practices for Purchasing team including negotiations with suppliers and establishing best practices to enhance value to the business. * Oversee data management accountability for Purchasing team at Neenah site and PSA Purchasing team. * Manage site capabilities in support of customer/sales opportunity funnels. * Manage the tabulation and improvement of metrics related to health of process. * Lead the identification and propagation of best practices within the site. * Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential. Additional Accountabilities: * Lead the deployment of evolutionary capabilities within site. * Support the coordination with other sites to work toward common solutions. * Support and mentoring for high priority, immediate needs project. * Lead the identification of root causes and implementation of sustaining corrective actions. * Support operations reviews to gather VOC. * Support performance reviews, development and succession planning. * Lead succession planning for self and site roles. * Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated * Additional duties as assigned. Education/Experience Qualifications: * A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is required. * Seven (7) years of related experience is required; Seven (7) or more years of related experience is preferred. * APIC Certification in production inventory control management (CPIM) or ISM Certification in procurement management (CPM) is beneficial.) An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
