The Role:

This position will lead the solutions to help improve the companies financial management and accounting platform and associated processes ensuring data quality while using agile framework. This should directly translate in solving problems for the business and internal customers.

As a finance and accounting representative in technology, you will have the courage and the capability to engage when conflict arises and a strong capacity for innovation. The company is a high integrity organization and successful team members including this key role will admit mistakes and take corrective action quickly (fail fast) and be diligent in providing the best solutions while meeting deadlines.

Job Duties:

• Distill customer and stakeholder needs and wants into clear set of user stories and acceptance criteria for software development.
• Work with product owners to help define requirements that impact other areas of the business
• Advocate on behalf of the customer and business to the development team.
• Make decisions about incremental value-add and iterative development within the application using data-driven research.
• Lead and advocate for an agile / scrum-based software development framework.
• Recommend and implement processes and tools that create a simple, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible options for the customer.
• Become the subject matter expert and take on platform administration.

What You Bring To The Role:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in technology, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience as business analyst or consultant with finance or accounting experience
• Agile or Scrum certifications a plus (Certified Scrum Master and/or Certified Product Owner)
• CPA (or working towards) a plus
• Scrum and agile framework experience.
• Prior experience working in financial management and accounting software, such as Great Plains, Sage, Epicor, or NetSuite.
• Ability to present work to executives and large stakeholder teams.
• Ability to present problems to your development team and work with them from concepting to releasing into production.
